The environmental and economic health of our region depends on a clean and reliable source of high quality water.

The Water Replenishment District has a vital role in promoting water conservation and education, and in developing innovative and affordable local recycled and ground water supply.

Lillian Kawasaki has the leadership, experience and knowledge to meet these challenges. She has a proven record of integrity and accountability that is helping to put the WRD back on track.

Her qualifications include:

• 4 years as WRD Director
• Former member of California Bay Delta Public Advisory Committee and Long Beach Water Commission
• More than 40 years as an environmental specialist and manager
• 35 years of committed public service
• Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in biological sciences

On November 2, please vote to re-elect the best candidate to move the Water Replenishment District forward-
